A needle, a thread and a mother's hands
Growing up in a quiet village as the second-born in a family of three, my earliest memories are stitched with the rhythmic hum of a manual sewing machine. Day after day, I watched my mother mend clothes and sew garments right at home.
Back then, it was simply part of the background of our daily life, a quiet necessity I never imagined would shape my destiny, let alone spark a lifelong passion. What started as quiet observation in a humble village kitchen grew into a deep appreciation for the craft of textiles. I learned to see fabric not just as material, but as a medium for durability, care and connection.
Those early lessons planted a seed that grew into a bold vision. In 2023 we opened Safety Stitch Enterprise Limited at OTC Wholesale Mall on Landhies Road, Nairobi. Our mission is simple: getting you home safely.
Today we supply construction firms, schools, hotels, hospitals, manufacturers, security companies and farms with workwear, safety gear and uniforms, and we brand them to order with embroidery, DTF printing and screen printing.
